bwof 09-2009-127 photos

It's insanely hard to photograph black, but you all knew that. Here's some pictures of my jacket.

Front. The faille is a bit wrinkled from running around after dog on a walk. Since it's lined with silk it's pretty warm.

Inside. You can sort of see how the armhole comes in. There's a seam at the top of the arm that curves over your shoulder.

Back, with the collar folded weirdly. It hits right at the top of my hips.

Wow! Really, really pretty, Wendy. But inside's so pretty I'd probably wear it inside-out. Or maybe I'll just make the lining.

Oh, BTW, if you didn't see on my blog, I got your patterns. THANK YOU! Now, please send me some time to use them. I have the fabric.

The jacket is really cute. I love the stitching you did to add the lining. What a nice touch!

The photos show off the lovely style well! And that idea of using the dupioni for the lining? I like that. Sometimes I simply use my jackets as tops and hate slippery lining because it feels so cold in the winter. Heck, I don't have to feel any more cold that I am LOL.
